Public services

Effective public services are essential to the UK’s social and economic prosperity.

In order to continue meeting people’s expectations while reducing the UK’s budget deficit, government needs to look beyond efficiency to transform public services. This requires new commercial behaviours and an effective government centre.

The CBI works to create a policy environment in which public services are better able to achieve these goals, for the benefit of all UK residents.
